After making a pretty thorough
canvas of this county, and after
consulting with many of the peo-
ple in whom I have the utmost con
fidence, and after due considera-
tion, 1 have derided definitely to
make the race of Tax Assessor.
Most of you have known for
some time that 1 was considering
the advisability of entering the
race, as some of the papers in the
county made mention of my pros-
pective candidacy. I have receiv-

support and I appreciate fully
the encouragement given me

be applied especially in the tax

These new features of the Royal add to the
sensitive fingers of the typist, the one vital thing
that the old-style typewriter subtracts—speed!
The speed with brains behind it — the all-day
speed of the expert typist in the day’s work.
Errorless speed is the kind of speed that counts.
Commonsense has punctured the illusion of the
other kind.
