Vvomen folks are particularly
annoyed at the proapect of
having to wear glasses for life
once they are fitted with
them. Thia does not prove to
be the* case at such times
where the cause of the eye
defects are remedied at once.
Often it is the case that the
lenses preserfbed will so cor-
rect ths imperfect focusing-
accommodation of the eye
that the muscles become
stronger and allow the wearer
to discard glasses entirely. •

REVIVAL MEETING
TO RE HELD EAST
OF CITY-HOLINESS
Well, W* hav* gotten away behind
with our job again, that of reporting
the happenings of thia community to
the pap*r, and we feel that some of
thtm would be "stale new*” now. But
we are going to tell aboui kuing to
the Old Settlors reunion at Bonham
un Aug.; 1st., a, the memory of it
is still very freak within uu, u,uMa,
and w* believe will be for many year*
to come. In company with our aged
father we had the rare privilege of
attending that gathering, and meet-
ing again with a number of life-time
friends, also making the acquaintert
ce of many of hi,’ old friends and
comrades of th* by.gone years, and in
addition to Shi* we enjoysu the fine
hospitality of the city of Bonham, in
th* fee* transportation and excellent
dinners furnished the Old Settlers
that day. (We don’t know much about
any other place, but until we have
proof to the eontti.<y, we shall be.
lieve that Bonham is hard to beat for
hospitality). Ix>t us say too, that it-
was a rar* treat to us to hear the ad-
dresses of our editor, Mr. Ashley
Evans, and our old school mate, Rev.
Jfsse P. Luton. And again, we weri
much pleased to make the acquatnten-
ce of "Osmokus," t^ou^h we didn’t
get to talk with him as we wished.
W* enjoyed th* song, of the Trini-
ty Quartet, In fact, every feature of
the oacasion, to the fullest extent, and
were sorry indeed that we couldn't be
present the second day of the reunion.'
May we all live to attend another such
reunion.
