A public hearing to determine
the group’s eligibility to hold a
referendum has been set for
10 a m. Thursday, May 21, in
the Texas Department of Agri-
culture's offices at Austin. Cer-
tilicatioti will be contingent on
evidence presented at the hear-
ing.
A series of five meetings
has been set over the state in
early May by the turkey fed-
eration to explain the goals of
their plan to producers who will
be affected. They will be held
in Temple, Dallas, Brownwood,
Fredericksburg and Cuero.
