NOTICE OF ELECTION
About 20 friends and family members joined together at the James Rascoe home to host 9
members of the Alpha Battery 156, Ft. Bliss, TX, for Thanksgiving Day. These nine
jnday a^es had just arrived at Ft Bliss after completing their basic training. They will now
inesday tegin the next phase of their training, some with the Patriot Missiles and some as
Sroup equipment and truck drivers. They expect to remain in Ft. Bliss from a few weeks to a
ay tew months before shipping out to Iraq, Korea and other duty stations.
IRCH Miile visiting in Dell City, the soldiers enjoyed lots of food, visiting, riding 4-wheelers
and getting a chance to call home and visit with their families. A few even managed to
O OOAM *et m a httle time for sleep. They also demonstrated drills, pushups and told stories of
1:00 PM heir army life. They were all impressed with our beautiful mountains and were reluctant
services to leave.
