is very good at present.
Our school is progressing
nicely, and the attendance is
good.
Mr. P. Warnica had the mis-
fortune to fall from his wagon
while returning from Abilene
first of the week and received a
sprained ankle.
Mrs. H. T. Edgar has return-
ed home from a two months
visit to her son and daughter in
the Ind. Ter.
.J. N. S. Webb received a fall
r*ently, from the electric street
car or something that was
making lighting speed and has
been suffering considerably with
his left side; but we are glad to
note he is getting along all O K
at present.
Rev. Dowing has moved to
Eskota, his future home.
Frank Crawford and family
have moved to the house he
vacated, and that makes one
rent house in Content, the first

cotton went to Abilene Monday
from Content.
Lovers of music gathered at
the hospitable home of Mr. and
Mrs. M. C. Bright, Sunday eve-
ning and with Mr. Alf A. Hans-

was well rendered, and all re-
port an enioyable time.
Messrs? Miller, Warnica and
Freeman, three of Conterts
most respected merchants, are
bringing in supplier for their
stores and every body will find
a large supply of bacon on hand.
Altogether it is a good idea as it
will probably save some of those
recent night visits ♦-> chicken
coops and smoke hous. \
Mr. Jim Sistrunk has moved
to Mrs. McAdams farm a few
miles from town.
Miss Carrie Bright spent first
of the week in the country with
Mrs. Mat McKenny.
Our prayer meeting is still
alive; but it needs a lot more
earnest workers to make it what
it ought to be. Let everyone
that can come out next Wednes
day night.
It does look like the corres-
pondents have all gone to sleep
or perhaps just haven’t got time
to let other towns and commun-
ities know what they are doipg,
Surely it’s not for the want of
“news.” And as long as Associ-
ate is able to represent Content,
Pumphrey will have to keep
moving to be the newsyest com-
munity represented.
Mrs. Thalia Smith, Mr. Jim
Harmon, and the little child of
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Rasson, are
quite sick, we are sorry to note.
Mr. Albert Sargent left last
