juveniles after a resident reported
someone had cut the tires on a 1986
Ford pickup and a Jeep Larry
Coronado of 410 Hicks reported the
incident andofficerscaught the tlirce
juveniles close to the scene, recover-
ing the knife believed to have been
used m the incident. They were
released to the custody of their
parents. The tires were valued at

Bryan Max Campbell of 2008 Rice
struck a 1989 Daihatsu CLS driven
by Benlura Gomez Frescaz. of 1835
Ave. I, Apt. 105C. Campbell was
cited for running a stop sign.
Around 5:35 p.m. Saturday
officers investigated a hit and run. A
1980 Pontiac Gran Prix driven by
Randy Roberto Rodriqucs ran
through a stop sign off at McKinley
and West Ave., struck the curb on the
opposite side of the street and ran into
two storage units belonging to
Bowman Enterprises. The driver fled
the scene but was located in the 500
block of Ave. N. He was cited for
failure to control speed, striking a fixed
object and failure to maintain financial
responsibility. He told officers the
brakes on the car failed.
Around 8:20 p.m. Friday officers
investigated an accident in the lOObkxdc
of Hickory. A 1989 Buick Skylark
driven by Jamie Lynctte Hillhouse of
Brownfeld collided with a 1979 Dodge
van driven by Randy Lee Pearson of
400 Cedar, Apt. 14.
Around 8 am Monday officers
investigated a mishap at the intersec-
tion of Austin and Ave. A. A 1977
Chevrolet Impala driven by Tammy
Sue Kelley of 1 O') Maple hit the rear
of a 1978 Chevrolet Blazer driven by
Dacia Megan Albus. Kelley was cited
for following too closely and Albus
was cited for not wearing a seat belt.
Around 5:49 p.m. Monday off ices
investigated a mishap involving an
automobile and a bicycle. Joe Adam
Martinez, of Greeley, Colorado was
westbound in the 100 block of
Cypress when a bicycle ridden by 11
year old Brandic Slewart of 120
Cypress ran out of herdriveway and
into the street. Martinez swerved to
miss the bicycle rider but she ran into
the side and fell over. She was taken
to Methodist Hospital Levelland. She
told officcrs her bicycle brakes did not
work; officcrs found them inoperable.
Around 5:15 p.m. Saturday
officers investigated a wreck at the
intersection of Austin and Ave. C. A
1987 Ford F-150 pickup driven by

Parents waiting to pick up their
children frpm a school trip to
Hereford witnessed a burglary suspect
being arrested Saturday afternoon.
Officers received a report that a
burglary was in process around 2;50
6m. Saturday. Officers Tammie
avis, D. Davis and Steve Bearden
were assisted by other taw enforee-
ment officers in apprehending a
suspect inside a rent house occupied
by Kem Rene Allen at 910 Ave. E.
Witnesses told officers they watched
the suspect standing by some trees
until the victim left the house. They
saw him jump over a fence, try the
back door and windows until he round
