SERVICE PROJECT — The Whitharral Student Council recently took
on the service project of landscaping in front of the school. They planted
three trees and 30 shrubs as part of a school beautification project.
Working to plant the shrubs are council members Chet Stuart, Brandon
Hoskins, Jordan Barker, and Will Kristinek.

OPENING TIME CAPSULES-The Class of 2001 was the first of Celia
Palmer s 7th grade Creative Writing classes to create time capsules The
students placed things that were important to them in the capsules and were
not allowed to open them until they graduated The graduating seniors
opened the time capsules and ate pizza on Wednesday, May 23. Seniors
present were: Parker Payne. Jody Slaughter, Austin Farr, James Cowan.
