Students from George A. Thompson Intermediate's
Orchestra have chosen their officers tor the 1977-78
school year. The chosen officers ares first row, left
to right; Clay Bozman, secretary, treasurer; Steve
Bova, vice president; Lucretia Hill, reporter; second
row, Debbie Pyper, assistant librarian, Deanna Hod-
Kay Davis is about to become one of the local real estate
agents. Kay has Just finished school and has taken her test.
She should be starting work withRealty World, M. D. Yandell,
toe., in the next couple of weeks. Good luck Kay.

be giving a concert on October 25 at J. Frank Doble
High School for all those Interested to attending. The
concert will begin at 7:30p.m. There will be no charge.
Santa Claus has Just announced plans to telephone a
limited number of children In Harris County this year Just
before Christmas.
Santa will be able to call about one hundred children a
day beginning Just after Thanksgiving.
Santa Claus said, “Thanks to the Clinic tor Hyperactive
children and modem computer technology, I’ll be able to
talk back and forth with hundreds of my favorite children to
the Houston area tor the first time ever".
Santa has requested that donations be made to the clinic
tor hyperactive children to help pay tor the costs of the
Santa calls.

In recent All-Play tootball
tor the Sage-Aimed* Tigers,
3 out of 5 teams were win-
ners.
The Tiger sophomores de-
feated the chargers of Oak
Creek 13-6.
In the first quarter, both
teams were unable to move
the ball effectively. Starting
the second quarter excite-
ment was Unites Wood who
pitched the ball back to Pat
Johnson to make an end
sweep, tor the first TD. Wood
plunged In a quarterback
sneak for the extra point.
The Chargers scored to the
third quarter.
Truman Milling scored on
a double reverse handoff and
rushed 60 yards tor the sec-
ond TD.
During the fourth quarter,
the Chargers had the Tigers
on the three yard line when
Richard Burraso punted out
of the end none into mid-
field. Outstanding lineman
was Wade Cacek, who con-
tinually busted the Charger
offensive line and sacked
the quarter back.
Defensive standouts were
Tim Clarkson, Patrick John-
son, Scott Newell and Bur-
raso.
In the beginners game, the
Tigers beat Oak Creek 12-0.
In the second quarter,
Steven Quisenberry topped
off a 70 yard run with a
touchdown. In the third
quarter, Quisenberry was at
it again, but the Chargers
brought him down Just six
inches from the goalline.
Keith Telltoger made the
next TD tor the Tigers with
a quarterback sneak, but
failed on the PAT.
