Zero weather, snow and real
old time blizzard is the weather
record for the past week. Last
Saturday was very cold and raw,
Sunday rather damp and foggy
Snnday night and Monday morn-
ing. Then snow, sleet and very
cold. Tuesday morning cold and
clear, but cloudy in the after-
noon and some more snow at
night The whole week has been
about as cold as we ever seq in
this country.
However, the snow, freeses
and the bit of dampness that has
come will go a long ways in pre-
paring the soil for farm work.
We need more rain and snow to
put a good season in the ground.
Work is rather behind, owing to
the ground being frozen and so
dry.
