J. E. Morgan, who lives out in the
Magnolia community, is one of Lynn
i county’s most progressive farmers.
Like many other farmers, he has be-
come a strong lieliever in terraces.
He has had his land nicely’ terraced
, and contours his rows and he says
that during the recent rains each
row carried its own water nicely
, and he lost none. On the other hand
j his field got the benefit of some wat-
j er that ran onto it from the public
I road and took care of this water
nicely without being damaged by it.
Mr. Morgan is also experimenting
with alfalfa. For several years he
has had a small patch which he ir-
rigated and he usually gets five cut-
j tings a year from it. This year he
■ is trying an acre of alfalfa
I irrigation. We shall expect
I tell us what kind of success he had
about the end of the year.

Burke, Texas—Mrs One* Craw-
ford. of this place, tells of her use
of Thedford's Black-Draught which
she says covers a period of “a good
many years "
"We use Black-Draught as a regu-
lar family medicine for constipation,
and I try always to keep It In the
bouse.
*T have found It a reliable medi-
cine to give the children when they
get upset from over-eating, or have
colds, for after taking Black-
Draught they get all right in a
little while.
*7 use Black-Draught for bilious,
sick headache. I have found that
a dose or two, taken at night, will
give quick relief for constipation
and the complications which follow
when that condition runs on.
“A bad taste In the mouth in tho
morning, dizziness and a dull head-
ache, all leave quickly after a few
doses of Black-Draught. I find it
is not safe to let such things run
on. I try to head off the danger
by taking Black-Draught in time.
It la a dependable medicine.”
