HOLDS FIRST
1968-’69 MEET
The Frisco Garden Club
held the first meeting of
1968769 at the Communitv
Hall on Wednesday, September
18th.
The meeting was called to

man. Members of the club
extended appreciation and
praise to Mrs. Ragan for the
beautiful painted covers she
made for the books; also for
the clever drawings she made
throughout the pages of the
books. The year book theme -
"Song Titles", is carried out
in the cover and programs.
The general theme of the year
is "Pursuit of Gardening",
and the course of study is
"Conservation - Bea ut ificat ion".
The theme for the Flower Show,
to be held May 8th, is "Mag-
azine Moods". Mrs. Cletus
Bristol, general chairman of
the Flower Show, passed out
the schedules for the show.
The day's program was en-
titled. "Getting to Know You”.
Mrs. Curtsinger showed movies
of members and their gardens._

COLLINSWORTH
DIES IN DALLAS
Mrs. Susie Ann Collins-
worth, a Frisco resident for
more than fifty years, pass-
ed away Wednesday morn-
ing, September 18, ar Fair
Lawn Rest Home in Dallas.
She was the daughter of Mr.
7 ,and Mrs. Alex Bruce and-^as
born December 2, 1877 at
Macon, Georgia.
She was married to Floyd
Collinsworth February 19,
1899. Mr. and Mrs. Collins-
worth celebrated their 69th
wedding anniversary this
year.
She was a member of Fris-
co Baptist Church.
Her survivors are: her hus-
band, Floyd-Collinsworth of
Frisco; two daughters. Mrs.
Evadna Dollenger and Mrs
Flossie Harris, both of Dallas;
a son, Avery Collinsworth of
Garland; three brothers;
Dick Bruce of Frisco, Sam
BruCe of Dallas and John T.
Bruce of Durant, Oklahoma;
