The fact that God, Mind, creates
only that which is good, and has
no knowledge of evil—giving it no
actual identity—is brought out in
the Lesson-Sermon to be read at
Christian Science services this
Sunday. “God the Only Cause and
Creator" is the subject.
“In the beginning God created
the heaven and the earth," says
the Golden Text from Genesis. The
Lesson-Sermon continues with this
verse: “And the earth brought
forth grass, and herb yielding seed
after his kind, and the tree yield-
ing fruit, whose seed was in itself,
after his kind: and God saw that
it was good." Mary Baker Eddy,
the Discoverer and Founder of
Christian Science, has written
these words in the textbook “Sci-
ence and Health with Key to the
Scriptures." and they are included

dress, with navy accessories and
the mother of the bridegroom was
attired in a black suit with match-

corsages of red roses.
Immediately following the cere-
mony a reception was held. The
bride’s table was laid with a cloth
of blue organdy centered with a
bowl of white mums, pastel blue
decorette and laceion. The two-
tiered wedding cake, topped with
a minature bride and bridegroom
was placed at one end of the table
and the punch bowl at the other.
Mrs. George Stracener of Wichita

poured.
For travel the bride donned a
wool suit of small checks in black

black accessories. Her corsage was
an orchid.
