Plaintiff, vs. Scherry Siler, Defen-
dant.
A brief statement of the nature of
this suit is as follows, to-wit:
This is a suit for annulment ,pf
marriage wherein plaintiff alleges
that he and defendant were mar-
ried bn or about the month of
June, 1949, and have never lived
together as man and wife; that af-
ter the marriage ceremony was
perfojrned and before this plain-
tiff lived with this defendant as
his wife, the defendant received a
telephone message and related to
this plaintiff that she would see
him in a short time, and that she
left him and he has never seen or
heard front her‘since said time.
Plaintiff further alleges that he
has spent numerous sums of mon-
ey trying to locate said defendant,
has contacted all of her friends,
has visited'numerous places where
he thought she may have been,
but has never been able to locate
her, and that in this connection
plaintiff would allege that the
marriage contract that defendant
performed with him is null and
void for all purposes.
WHEREFORE, plaintiff prays
that defendant be cited to appear
and answer herein* and on final
hearing he have judgment decree-
ing and judging that said mar-
riae is null and void; and for such
otljer and further relief as the
court shall deem proper to grant
with costs of suit.
If this citation is not served
within ninety days after the date
of issuance, it shall be returned
unserved.
The Officer executing this pro-
cess shall promptly execute the
same according to law and make
due return as the law directs.
Issued and given under my hand
and'the Seal of said Court, at of-
fice in Wichita Falls, Texas this

sonages must be rebuilt in Kan-
sas Central Kansas and Central
West Annual'Conferences at an
estimated cost of $300,000. In
some areas, 95 per cent of the
church members have lost their
homes.
Relief organizations and army

M. ’B, Holbrook, grandmother of housing the homeless with local
aid, but they cannot restore dam-
aged church property. Five hun-
dred neighboring churches in the
Kansas-Nebraska areas have rais-
ed over $50,000 to help replace
personal losses1 of ministers.
“The remaining churches of
Methodism now have an opportun-
ity to share in restoring the nor-
mal channels of ministry to these
people who have suffered losses,”
said Dr. Thomas B. Lugg, Chicago,
executive secretary of the General
Commission on World Service and
Finance.
“Let Flood Relief Sunday be a
day of compassion,” he said.
