Watson, who was electrocuted last Tuesday while stringing wires for the city light plant.
The various members worked in relays for two hours over the apparent lifeless body and
at one time theie was a faint response of the heart and respiratory system, but the con-
dition of the body was such that the efforts failed. This volunteer crew has in the past
saved several lives when they arrived in time with their equipment, and are available at
all hours for any service they can render- This picture was run at a general request to show

killed Tuesday afternoon at 3 4-5
when he fell aeoss two 220 volt
power lines He was working with
Ola Sillman and Henry Edwards,
both linesman when the accident
occurod in the 100 block of South
Wichita Street Edwards was on
the ground while Sillman and Wat-
son were tying in a line on a pole
Watson was believed to have slip-
ped and fallen on the wires He was
brought down in three minutes by
Sillman and Edwards and firemen
and doctors tried artificial respira-
tion for about two hours
Watson came too Electra about
six months ago from West Virginia
where his wife and small son live.
He had been working for the city
several months and had been plan-
ning on moving his family hen'
The resuscitation squad worked
over the body for two hours and
at one time had the heart and res
piration system faintly working
but were unable to continue be-
cause of the weakened < oondition
of his system.
