Notice is hereby given that pursu-
ant to a resolution passed by the
Board of Directors of the Cisco &
Northeastern Railway Company on the
ISth day of March 1921 a special
meeting of the stockholders of the
Company hns been called to be held
and will convene and be held at the
office of the Company In Cisco Texas
at 1:00 o'clock P. M. on the 23rd day of
April 1021 for the purpose of consid-
ering ami determining the following
matters:
1. Authorizing the Board of Direc-
tors and proper officers of the Com-
pany to so amend its charter taat the
Board of Directors of the Company
shall consist of nine (0) persons.
' 2. Authorizing the Board of Direc-
tors nnd proper officers of the Com-
pany to make application to the
Railroad Commission of Texas and
to the Interstate Commerce Com-
mission for authority to execute
nnd deliver on Iwhalf of the Company.
Its first mortgage 0 per cent Gold
Bonds of the principal sum of $1000.00
each to an amount not leu than $30-
000.00 per mile on the railroad now
owned by the Company and on that
which It may hereafter construct or
acquire payable at such time as may
be determined by the stockholders;
and for the purpose of securing the
payment of said bonds to execute and
deliver on behalf of the Company a
first mortgage or deed of trust upon
all of the properties rights and fran-
chises which it now owns or which It
may hereafter acquire wherever situ
ate; and for authority of the directors
aud proper officers of the Company to
execute nnd deliver said bonds and
mortgage on behalf of the Company
after authority to do so shall have
been obtained from the Texas Railroad
Commission and from the Interstate
Commerce Commission.
3. To elect directors to serve until
the next regular meeting of the stock
holders.
