Funeral Rites
To Be Friday
A. C Smith, 62, long time
resident of Electra, died early
Thursday morning in the Elect-
ra Hospital following a long
illnes.
Born Sept. 17, 1905, in Pocky
Okla., he was a veteran of
World War II and a member
of the Southside Church
Christ.
Funeral services will bo held
at 2 p.m, Friday from the cha-
pel with Lemuel Phillips, mini-
ter, officiating.
Burial will be in
Cemetery under direction
James B. Totten
Funeral Homo.
Survivors include his wife,
Ouida (Babe); two sons, Daniel
T. Smith and Charles Smith,
both of Electra; five brother,
five sisters and two grand-
daughters, Sean and Stacy
Smith of Electra.

'A brief statement of the na-
ture of this suit is as follows,
to-wit:
After alleging jurisdiction,
Plaintiff further alleges that
he and Defendant were mar-
ried on or about December
1966 and continued to live to-
gether as husband and wife un-
til on or about March, 1967,
when by reason of cruel, harsh
and tyrannical treatment on
the part of the Defendant to-
ward this Plaintiff, without
cause or provocation was of
such a nature as to render their
further living together insup-
portable; that there were no
chiklcn born of this marriage
and no community, property.
Wherefore, premises consid-
ered, Plaintiff prays that the
Defendant be cited to appear «5
