NEW YORK (UP)-Lightweight
Frankie Ryff, who gave Kid Cen-
ella a lopsided licking Monday
night in their TV fight, today at-
tributed his comeback prowess
partially to the fact that “I gave
away my cat.”
Since he transferred his black
and white tomcat “Tippy” to his
mother-in-law at Brewster, N.Y.,
three months ago, New Yorker
Frankie registered two comeback
victories, the more impressive
being last night’s win over Nica-
raguan Centella at St. Nicholas
Arena.
Biondish Frankie beat awkward
Centella so thoroughly with left
jabs and left-right combinations
that the rounds scoring for the
unanimous decision was 10-0, 10-0,
9-1. Only Judge Artie Aidala gave
a round to Centella—the fourth.
Centella, making his New York
debut, had his right eye practical-
ly closed as he suffered his sixth
straight defeat.

also the bonded indebtedness. The
county stands in extremely good
financial condition, as set out by
this report. At the present time
there is only $193,000 in bonded
indebtness outstanding.
Further, the original $300,000
member of the hospital bond issue now stands at
$92,000, and there are assets worth
by his wife, approximately $700,000 at the hos-'
pital, which sum includes the
buildings, furnishings and land.
The Grand Jury wishes to take
this opportunity to congratulate
and express its appreciation as a
body as well as individually to the
hospital board for its fine hand-
ling of the hospital, as well as
cultivation. 2 good windmills and

The Grand Jury interviewed
Noel Wofford in his role as adult
probation officer and was inform-
ed of the duties of that office. It
was determined 45 men and
women are now on probation
from Johnson County, and that
Marvin B. Clary — Jim L. Smith approximately 17 juvenile cases
per year are being filed in the
county. This small number of ju-
venile cases afone indicates the
youth of Jhonson County are well
disciplined and under good super-
vision, both from parents, as well
as the juvenile officer.
