Wonder if any of the readers of
the Herald have missed the news
from White Rock.
A very few weeks can cause many
changes, boys going away to the
army, deaths, people moving away.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn S*mith are
moving to Hunt County. They lived
in what is known as the Sed Free-
man Home.
J. M. Freeman of Leonard visit-
ed A. L. Bean and wife and S. V.!
Wilson Saturday night and Sunday.
Relatives who visited Mrs. Mac
Carpenter Sunday were Mr. and
Mrs. G. E. Carpenter, Bettie Dian,
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Redding of Par-

Very sorry to hear of W. H. Cum-

preme Forest Woodmen Circle met
Saturday, November 15 i» regular,
session with Arlie Witherspoon in
charge. After the regular order of
business was completed, we planned
our Thanksgiving program.
Saturday, November 22, we meet
at 9:30. We will have our good
citizenship program. All .member’s
are urged to be present for at this
time -we will study our flag, how to
display it at any kind of gathering.
Those present and taking part in
last meeting were: Minnie Brown,
Eugenia Blackwell, Lois Brown, Dor-
othy Lee Kirkpatrick, Arlie Wither-
spoon, Verna Sha Henegar and Mrs.
Etta Henegar, the supervisor.
