Federal prison at Atlanta members
of The Lupo Morello gang of coun-
terfeiters and murderers have hatch
ed a plot to assassinate W. J.
Flynn, the steret service man who
caught the counterfeiters, and
Judgp George Ray, who sentenced
then*. One told of the' plot to kill
the secret service officer. While
the trial was going on the Judge
received a death threat. Flynn
says that three iiersons named >n
the plot have already been killed.

The congregational meet ng call-
ed by Rev. F. L McFadden at the
First Presbyterian chur> h su-day
voted unanimously to ask the Dallas
Presbytery not to dissolve the rela-
tion between the pastor. Rev.
Fadden, and the church here,
following letter was sent to
Presbytery at Dallas, asking
Rev. McFadden’s reques- to dissolv
his pastoral relation here he
granted:
"A longregation meeting called
by enr pastor. Rev. F. L. McFadden,
uas Leld today. Mr. McFadde nstat-
<'d that the meeting was called to
ask the congregation to join him in
a r</,uest to the Dallas Presbytery
to dissolve the pastoral relationship
existing between himself and the
ccngrega’ion of the First Presbyter-
ian church. The meeting was or
ganized by electing A. E Smith
moderator and W. T. Evers clerk.
A motion carried unan mously that
thp officers of the church be in-
structed to hold a conference with
our pastor with a view of getting
him to -withdraw his resignation.
The congregat onal meeting was
then ad’oured until after the even,
ing services. A» conference between
Mr. McFadden and the officers of
the church was held, after which a
resolution was passed by the board
of officers that the congregation eb
requested to pass a resolution ask-
ing Mr. McFadden to withdraw hl8
resignat on. AfJZr the evening ser
vice, the congregational meeting
was re-convened and the report
made by the officers as above, was
unanimously accepted. The congre-
gation then unanimously voted to
ask Mr. McFadden to withdraw his
resignation to the Dalias presbytery,
that the pastoral relationship with
this church be dissolved. A furth-
er motion unanimously carried that
this congregation do not join Mr.
McFadden in asking the Presbytery
,to dissolve th's pastoral, relation
ship. And we, as a congregation,
now pray that the Presbytery send
our beloved pastor back to us, that
the relationship between pastor and

Joe H. Wilkins of near
who sold his place west of town last
year has dee ded after looking
around that there was no place like
Denton county and has purchased
the Fred Wilson farm of 337 acres
west of Denton for a consideration
of $17,675. The deal was made by
the Denton Trust company.

old, was brought here Monday from
Argyle, -suffering from serious in-
jur es received in a runaway acci-
dent near there Sunday night. His

bugi-y got out to lead the animal, by
accident he jerked the bridle off.
