presided. Special emphasis was
placed on l‘
Christmas offering and pro-
gram.
The president brought some
very timely information on
mission and the Christmas
offering. The goal for the church
is 55,000. Wednesday night,
Dec. 15th a party will be
held and an offering made in
honor of Miss Lottie Moon who
was a missionary to China for
many years before her death in
1912. Shortly after her death
the denomination established a
special offering in her honor.
The goal for all Southern
Baptist is 85 million dollars.

RosaLorenz was honored
with anjefurly^bifthday party on
Thanksgiving Day. She will be
94 years old on Dec1. I 8, 1993.
The party was hosted by Sid
and Gaytha Lorenz of Wichita
Falls. Thanksgiving dinner was
served at noon, and the birthday
party began at 3 p.m.
Guests attending were Roland
Lorenz and Rosalie Haddox
of New Braunsfels, Texas;
Marvin and Ruby Lorenz of
Odessa; Dorothy Adams of
Electra; Chuck, Vickie, Lisa
and Karen Robb of Fort Worth;
Terri, Howard and Jennifer
Warren of Wichita Falls, and
Darrel Lorenz of Lubbock.
Mrs. Lorenz received many
lovely gifts and wishes to thank
all attending.

at Electra Home Health on
Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. with
Mary Northcutt presiding. She
opened the meeting with the
TOPS and KOPS Pledges.
Eleven members were present.
No business was conducted
and members enjoyed a Christ-
mas party. Mrs. Northcutt
read a poem, "Dash Away
All”, from the December, 1990,
Wilda Palmer, program chair- TOPS News. Everyone joined
man, presented the program, in singing Christmas songs,
the title was "Declaring His
Glory to the Utmost”.
