Addresses of former Electra
school band and choral students
are needed for the Band Reunion
being planned Sept. 18 and 19
in conjunction with the school
homecoming.
The Band Reunion is a
memorial to the late Howard
L. Smith, long time band and
choral director here.
Persons having addresses of
these former students are being
asked to contact the Electra
Star-News at 817 495-2149 or
bring them by the newspaper
office.
A meeting is planned Thurs-
day, June 25, at 7 p.m. in
the Directors Room, Electra
Chamber of Commerce, to be-
gin addressing letters for the
reunion. Interested persons are
invited to attend.
Ex-baseball coaches of Elec-
tra Little League are planning
a reunion tournament in Electra
on Saturdayj- July 4-
