Our current Chief makes less
than a mere patrolman in Iowa
Park. A far cry from the nice
wage former Chief Andrews
made. These officers can’t even
feed their families on their
wages, much Less buy a home
and settle into the community.
These officers work at times 16-
18 hours a day and the city pays
them 8. All these competent,
dedicated young people, putting
their lives on the line to make
our community a better place
to live, and how do we show
our appreciation. We run them
off with petty complaints and
no support. Why not encourage
and support these individuals.
Purchase equipment they can
use and give them a salary they
can live on.
Sincerely,
Glen Avery

First one must understand as-

care however has a deductible in
the form of one lump sum of sev-

exceeding seventy five dollars in
a calendar year. The value of
accepting assignment is that it
saves the patient approximately
thirty percent.
Medicare offers an incentive
to doctors who will agree
