The Texas Telephone Co.
M. L. PAGE, Local Manager
Telephone communication facilities between the
farmer and the city of Mart are essential both to
Mart and the farmers living in the vicinity of Mart.
We endeavor at all times to render good rural
service and to properly maintain the rural lines own-
ed by us, for unless the rural lines are kept up prop-
erly it is impossible to expect to get service over
them, however, it is not always possible for us to take
care of rural trouble promptly. z
Rural lines owned by subscribers and maintain-
ed by them to the city limits where they connect with
our lines, make rural service much less expensive to
the farmer, and too, if the line gets in trouble it can
generally be repaired by the farmer much quicker
than we could get to it.
For information regarding community owned ru-
ral lines to connect with our Mart exchange, see our
Local Manager who will be glad to co-operate with
you.
