- Content Description: A glass slide showing a photograph of the Potter’s Field, in Jerusalem, Israel. The Potter's Field is of Biblical origin, and is also called Akeldama, bought by the high priests of Jerusalem for the burial of strangers, criminals, and the poor. It was paid for with the coins that had been paid to Judas Iscariot for his betrayal of Jesus (Matthew 27:3-27:8). On the frame of the slide is printed "T.H. McAllister, Manufacturing Optician, 49 Nassau St., New York. On the reverse, the slide is numbered No.6066.
