Kingspark Residents
Hold Xmas Party
Residents of the Kingspark
sub-division who live on Bren-
don Park Lane, Friendswood
held a neighborhood Christ-
mas party for about 25-50
childreu on Dec. 17.
A tree was erected in the
center of Brendon Park Lane
circle and was decorated with
Christmas ornaments made
by the participating children.
While the decuiaiioiis were
being prepared Mr. Paul Ja-
cobs, 504 Brendon Park Lane,
went after Santa Claus and de-
livered him by pick-up truck
to the scene
Santa distributed gifts to
the children and refreshments
were served at the Jacob’s
home to all the children and
parents in attendance
According to Mrs. Helen
Jacobs, one of the organizers
of the neighborhood tree, it
seems this may turn out to be
an annual event

of expression.
In Michigan, a justice sen-
tenced two 18-year olds to
10 days in jaul, including two
on a diet of baby food. Ihe
diet specification, explained
the judge, was because the
youths “acted like babies.”
They were also fined $25each

novel. “Capable of Honor”,

Family”, a novel which will
lead one to some inevitable
comparisons with rhe Kennedy
family.
Then there u Rebecca
West’s novel. * The Birds Fall
Down”, a tale of a double

in 1900.
