age 91 of Dinuba, California,
passed away April 23,2007, at her
residence. She was bom April 23.
1916, in Carbon, Texas, to Ira C.
and Gustava Lee (Hagar) Tucker.
In 1936, she was united in mar-
riage to Estill C. ( Slim)
Broughton in Comanche, Texas,
on the steps of the Comanche
County Courthouse.
Mrs. Broughton was a home-
maker and a member of the

She was also employed at Star
Kist in California for 12 years.

Zion Hill Cemetery Association

He was bom on December 3,
1964, in Lubbock, Texas, to
George H. Barker and Margaret
Ozell (Norman) Barker.
Berry was a United States
veteran. For twenty years he was
employed as an auto parts sales-
man by Carl’s Auto Supply in
Comanche.
A memorial service was held
at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 27,
2007, at First United Methodist
Church with Rev. Bobby Davis Bradley officiating,
officiating.
Granbury; and numerous nieces, daughters, Chrissy Cole of
nephews, and other relatives and Gainsville, Britney Cheatham of
friends.

47, of Houston, Texas, passed
away Thursday, April 26, 2007, at
Memorial Herman Northwest
Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Higginbotham Funeral Home
Chapel in Gorman, with Richard
Watson officiating. Burial fol-
lowed in the Oaklawn Cemetery
in Gorman, Texas.
Jeff was bom March 28,
1960, in Abilene, Texas, to
Johnnie Arland Watson and Kay
Laree Jarrett Watson. He was bap-
tized in the First Baptist Church in
Gorman, on November 22, 1971.
He graduated from gorman High
School in 1978. He married
Sandra Kay Williams on
December 21, 1996 in Gorman.
Jeff owned a successful printing
company. Roadrunner Press, in
San Marcos, Texas, during the
1980’s. He moved to Houston in
the early 1990’s, and owned and
operated Watson Litho and
Printing. He was also a sales rep-
resentative for several oil and gas
drilling ventures along the Gulf
Coast of Texas. Jeff was a Super
Salesman!
Jeff is survived by his wife of
10 years, Sandra Kay Watson of
Houston; daughter, Jaclyn Watson
of Mt. Pleasant, SC; mother, Kay
Watson-Johnson of Gorman; two
brothers, Steven Watson of
Spicewood and Mark Watson of
Gorman; three aunts, Rita Hall,
Cala Watson and Joyce Brinegar,
great-uncle, Elmer Watson, and
first cousins, Jim, Mary Ellen, Joe,
Phil, Donna, Tim, John, Sam,
Trevor and Tanya
He was preceded in death by
his father. Johnnie Arland Watson;
son, Jason Arland Watson; grand-
parents, James Arland and Edna
Watson, and Clifton and Frankie
Jarrett, and one aunt. Mary Beth
