Survey of County
Library Scheduled
‘. A survey of the Brazoria
County Library is schedul-
ed to begin about mid-Janu-
j ary. County Judge Alton
' 1 Arnold has announced.
He said he had contacted ,
Mrs. Gretchen Knief Scbenk

and that Mrs. Schenk has
agreed to undertake the li-
brary survey here.
The survey should begin in
about five weeks, the judge
said.

pected to be made within the
near future, with Judge

the vacancy in various li-

Miss Bernice Hurst, who
has served as Brazoria I
County librarian since the
library was established in
1941, has resigned effective
Jan. 1. She will be on
vacation beginning this week,
and so will actually leave
the library earlier than her
