Miss Edna Schock spent
a two weeks vacation in Col-
orado this year. She visited
her sister, Mrs. Charles A.
Miller, in Colorado Springs
and her two nieces, Noel

Denver. She said the scen-
ery in the entire area is
beautiful and she enjoyed
several sightseeing jaunts.
Louis Schilhab has been
ill and in the Galveston
County .Memorial Hospital
but is reported to be improv-
ing.
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Smith
are among Alvin's real
sports fans -- they never
miss a football game on
either Thursday or Friday
nights, so naturally they
were among the many local
spectators at the Angleton
game Fiiday.
