lows:
Section 1.- Competition open only to
boys and girls 10 years of age or over,
and under 20 on Jan. I, 1916.
Best one acre yields of inert hant-
able peanuts and it* hay, cost of pro-
duction considered. $700 in prizes-—
1st, $100; 2n $75; 3rd, $50; three
prize- of $25 eat h; and $4(M) to be
awarded in discretion of committee on
awards.
Section 2. Competition open to all.
Best yields per acre of merchantable
peanuts (nut.- only, on one or more
acres, cost of production considered.
$3(H) in prizes 1st, ?HM); 2nd, $75; 3rd
$50, anti three prizes of $25 each.
Contestants in Section 1, will he en-
rolled also as contestants in Section 2.
The yield of nuts ami vines in Sec. ■
1. and of the nuts in Sec. 2, must lie
determined by actual weight when ful-
ly matured ami thoroughly dried, in
the presence of witnesses.
Under these conditions hoys and
girls are competing for prizes aggre-
gating $1,000. ami the adults for $300,
anil peanut growing with ordinary con-
ditions ami unlimited acreage is placed
in active competition wrth boys and
girls’ cultivatii ti »n single acres.
