the relationship between

ways to conserve energy.”

must work together to keep the

several ways to help reduce air
pollution:
-do not burn leaves and
trash;
-keep automobiles properly
tuned and keep pollution

-use car pools and public
transportation and walk rather
than ride as much as possible.
Remember, the more cars on
the road, the more pollution.

Thoughts For Living

If there were no saints
today, who would do all the
volunteer wort that is done?
Who would care for the un-
wanted children? Who would
care enough to try to feed the
hungry? Who would go into
the ghettos with words of
encouragement? Who would
keep the houses open for those
who have no place to sleep
tqnight? Who would there be
to lift up those-who are ^own
and offer them another
chance? Who would hold the
cup of cold water out to the
thirsty in the name of Christ?
Can we find ourselves some-
where in that list of questions?
Do we want to be found there?
If we do, it will mean giving
up some personal pleasures
and perhaps some things we
consider necessities. Think it
over.
Today I’m thinking about
saints—not because I know
very many-but because we
read in Romans 1:7 and 1st
Corrinthians 1:2 that we are
“....Called to be saints”. That
seems to me to be a very high
calling and I wonder if I can
ever reach that plateau and
how far I'll need to climb
before 1 do.
I found a bit of writing on
the subject of saint* that I
believe all of you can
appreciate. No author was
listed. It merely had
"selected" at the end.
“Why were the saints.
