Himself will descent from
heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and
with the trumpet of God; and
the dead in Christ shall rise
first. Then we who are alive
and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the
air, and thus we shall always
be with the Lord. Therefore
comfort one another with these
words. “Praise the Lord! You
know, we who believe this
Bible are JUST ON TOUR
because we are bound for
PARADISE. PTLII would hate
to know that heaven was what
we went through lait year with
the 113 degree temperatures
and the drought we had with
farmers out of water to quinch
the thirst of their cattle and
peanut farmers not able to
irrigate. We have a promise
and don’t be afraid to tell of
the HOPE that is in you
recorded in First Peter. Praise
the Lord! Just remember,
YOU ARE JUST ON TOUR.
God bless. See you next
week.

Praise the Lord for the great
Annie Armstrong offering
which came through about two
weeks ago. It was a record.
We went over our goal of S500.
We are so thrilled with the
participation of missions
giving in our church over the
past year. We also had another
record giving for Lottie Moon
the first week. We nearly
doubled our goal of 1500. PTLI
Bro. Darryl is thrilled with the
giving if our people. This
really gets us into Bold
Mission Thrust which is what
our Sunday School lessons for
the next three Sundays and
this past Sunday waa all about.
Giving your money, time and
talent to the Lord, whether
through your local church or
on the foreign field.
Well, it is time to go again.
May 1 leave this thought with j
you for the week. These people
that go around teaching that
heaven is right now sure don't
understand what Paul waa

Not "Just” Ifeanuts
Peanuts are more to Comanche
County than something to snack on while
watching television or entertaining guests.
Peanuts are a way of life. The people in-
volved are facing a particular breed of prob-
lems due to prosposed changes in govern-
mental regulations.
At Southern Savings we understand
because we’ve been there. We hope that by
working together we can defeat these prob-
lems and make a better life for the people of
Comanche County.
Be sure to write your Congressman and
let him know how you feel. If time is a prob-
lem, drop by Southern Savings and pick up
a free copy of the letter we have prepared in
the peanut farmer's interest. Simply sign
and mail.

considerable notice that some-
