The marriage of Miss Georgiana
Master" daughter of Mrs^ Geofge
W. Masters, and the late Mr. Mas-
ters. to J. Armstead Rice took!
place Monday evening, July 26,
in a double ring ceremony In the
chape', of the First Methodist
Church in Brownwood.
The bride was attired in a lime
green sheer of .street length, with
brown accessories. Her corsage
was ci orchids.
Mrs. Rice is a graduate regis-
tered nurse of Medical and Sur-
gical Memorial Hospital in. San
Antonio, and until recently was
chief surgical nurse at Blackwood
‘ in rnmanche.
Mr. Rice served with- the U. S.
i Marines for six years, and is now
local County fact vice Officer.
After a short wedding trip, the
couple are at home at the Blather-

The J. O. Stewart family met.
at the old home place. Monday, i
August 2, for their second re-
union. Twenty-six members of the
family were present, and 27 ab-
sent.
Those present Included: Mr.
and Mrs. J. O. StcVart, Coman-
che- Mr. and Mrs. H. M. McCul-
lough Mr. and Mrs. Buster Pharr
and children. Elton and Kay: Mr.
and Mrs. Burton Odell, Mr. and
Mrs. W. J. Payne and girls, La-
Nelle and Beth of Lubbock; Mr.
and Mrs. T. E. Dutton. Brown-
wood j Mr. and Mrs. Charley W.
Allen of Fort Worth, Mr. and
Mrs. B. C. Dutton and son, J. M-
of Proctor, Mr. and Mrs. R. E.
Nance, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Al-
len, Zoel and Peggy of Coman-
che Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wilson

afternoon.
All had a wonderful day - and

"Section 28. The Legislature ahull, at its
first regular session after the publication
of each United States decennial census,
apportion the state into senatorial and rep-
resentative districts, agreeable to th. pro-
visions of Sections 25, 26, and 26-u of this
Article. In the event the Legislature shall
at any such first regular session following
the publication of a United States deeen-
ninl census, fail to make such apportion-
ment. same shall be done by the Legisla-
tive Redistricting Board of Texas, which
is hereby ereiftea, ana rtCklL it? ^composed
of fiVa (5) members, as follows: The Lieu-
tenant Governor, the Speaker of the House
of Representatives, the Attorney General,
the Comptroller of Public Accounts and the
CommiMloner of the General Land Office, a

rum. Said Board shall assembu In the Gity
of Austin within ninety (»0) days after
I the final adjournment of such regular so,-

days after assembling, apportion the state
into senatorial and representative districts,

tricts. as the failure of action of such Leg-
islature may make necessary, Such appor-

Board duly acknowledged as the act and
deed of such Board, and. when so executed
.nd filed with the Secretary of State, shall
have force and affect of law. Such appor-
tionment shall become effective nt the next
succeeding statewide general election. The
Supreme Court of Texas shall have juris-
diction to compel such Commission to per-
form its duties in accordance with the
prov sions of this section by writ of man-
damus or other extraordinary writs con-
formable to the usages of law. The Legis-
