Edwin Lawrence ‘‘Buzz’’
Thompson, 65, passed away
Sunday, Nov. 29 1981 at his
home in Alba, Texas.
He was an electrician at
General Dynamics for 35 years
before retiring. He was a me-
mber of Masonic Tabernacle
Blue Lodge No. 1195, Burleson
chapter of Eastern Star, Lost
Angels Flying Club and a vet-
eran of World War H. He had
been a resident of Burleson for
18 years before moving to Al-
ba in 1979.
Survivors are his wife, Grace
daughter and son-in-law, Kar-
en and Peter Norris, two gran-
dchildren, Kirsten and Gunther
Norris. Two brothers, Carl
Thompson of California and
Dean Thompson of Saginaw.
Two sisters, Christene Gorman
of Fort Worth and Margie Ross
of California.
Memorial services were held
at 10 a.m. at Wilson-Bartley
Funeral Chapel in Alba with
Masonic graveside services at
Mount Olivet cemetery on Wed.
Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.
