The armadillo is one of the most
common mammals in this area of
Texas. The nine-banded armadillo almost completely submerged,

place in class and earned the right
to come back for top honors. In
that drive, cattle judge Jeff
McCarter, picked Butchee’s calf
for Grand Champion Progress
Steer. Also showing was Abby
Peters with her AOB heifer.
Peters received second in class
and came back to be named Breve
Champion AOB heifer.
