Bethesda Friendship Club was
held in the home of Mrs. Herb-
ert, Jewett, Route 2, Burleson,
with Mrs. David Jewett as co-
hostess.
A delicious dinner was serv-
ed at the noon hour with Mrs.
H. Jewett giving the invocation.
' A business meeting was held
in the afternoon with members
answering roll call with a fav-
orite Bible verse;
Committees were appointed to
carry Christmas baskets to shut-
ins in the community and pres-
ents to a local rest home during
the coming Christmas season.
The program was planned for
our Christmas party which will
be in the home of Mrs. W. D.
Rolison, Route 4; Cleburne, with
Mrs. Raymond Brown as cop
hostess. <
Members present were: Mmes.
W. R. Rhoads, W. D. Robison,
Sarah Sharp, Walter Decker,
Charley Sharp, Pearl Wash-
bum, Sydney Eades, Lillian
