Gift exchange sometimes appears
to be a useless practice—But it's
not. Think this over: That in John

the giving of material gifts by those
merely a
symbol of the great gift God made
to men. Lets keep it up.

Saturday morning, Christmas in-

the business world to the homes of
the individual cittzen.
The little tots will awake to find
their Christina' stockings have been
filled by Fanta Claus. Then the fam-

noon and the traditional Christ-
mas dinner at noon.
That will be the scene generaly
in every home in Mt. Vernon and
, ''inkli" Comity -but. there will
likely be another extreme in some
homes. Many children will not en-
joy tlie thrill of old Santa Claus,
and the Christmas tree unless the
citizenship sees to it that they do.
Lets all unite in one supreme ef-

Franklin County can know there
is a Santa Claus.

attract hundreds of passers-by.
And no sweeter music in heaven or
