filed Form 941 should note that
beginning January 1, 1978, the
Schedule A of the Form 941 will
no longer be required
Form 941 will still be sent
quarterly to the Internal
Revenue Service However.
Schedule A. or continuation
sheet, will no longer be used to
report the social security wages

Instead, the W-2 form, sub
mitted at the end of 1978 will be
used by both the Social Security
Administration to credit the
employee's social security
wages, and by the Internal
Revenue Service for income tax
