and place Christmas

loved ones and friends.
There are many pioneer
families and "Old Timers"
resting in Alto’s only
cemetery who do not have
a relative nor a friend to
place flowers on their
graves. Why not place
flowers on one of the
graves? If each member of
' the Association living in
Alto would do this, the
cemetery would be a
prettier place this Christ-
mas season
Alto boys are coached by
Mark Wimberley, and
Carol Boyd tutors the girls
The Alto boys opened
their season on November
27, dropping a close game
to Martinsville by a 69-67
count. The Yellowjackets
led after the first quarter
but fell behind in second
and third periods and a
fourth-quarter rally fell
short
Coach Wimberley has
been pleased with the pro-
gress of his players thus
far. espe ially since
several of the players got a
