Of 474 examinations made during
the period of this year, 164 animals
were found to have rabies. During
1940 however, 14S8 examinations
revealed 394 positive eases. This was
a decrease from 1939's cumulative
1,975 cases, of .which 583 were found
to be positive.
Rabies in man is rare bur highly
fatal unless Pasteur treatment is very
promptly instituted, says Dr. George
i \\'. Cox. State Health Officer. It is.

There will he eight meetings in

Tuesday and Friday of each week,
