ring ceremony was read
at 7:30 P. M. by Piev. Lewis
Price, pastor of the First Baptist
Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Lum Rimes of
Guthrie are parents of the bride.

Jones of Del win, near Paducah,
Pre-nuptial music was given
by Mrs. Jerry Mitchell, organist,
who also played the wedding
music.
Anita Brady of Uuthrie was
the bride's only attendant. She
wore a white dress with a pink
carnation corsage Gerald Rankin
also of Guthrie, was nest man.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
white dress of embossed cotton,
made with full skirt, fitted
bodice and three-quarter length
sleeves. She wore white hat and

shoes. She carried a one hun-
dred year old Bible on top of
which was an arrangement of
pink carnations with pink satin
streamers. The Bible was carried
during the Civil War by her
great-grandfather, the late Rev.
T. J. Abbott.
Immediately following the
ceremony, a reception was held
in the fellowship hall of the
church. The table was covered
with a lace cloth over pink. The
three tiered wedding cake was
served by Mrs. Joe Rimes,
sister-in-law of the bride, and
Anita Brady presided at the
punch obwl. Guests from Guth-
rie, Paducah and Aspermont
were registered by Mary Ann
Ballard of Guthrie.
The bride and groom are both
1962 graduates of Guthrie High
School. They are living in Fort
Worth where the groom is em-
ployed before entering school in
July.
Mrs. Jones is the granddaugh-
ter of Mrs. T. N. Abbott of
Aspermont.
