I am one of the bizarre indi-
viduals that hope robots become
inexpensive enough by the time I
reach my golden years. I wanted a
personal robot to help around the
house and to wait on me when I get
decrepit. I am getting older every
year and I don’t see robots in hous-
es of anyone I know.
This means if nothing changes I
will be stuck with the small robots
that vacuum the floor and wash
the floors. I wonder if they could
at least super size those. I do have

She would especially like to

When I was young, tea came in
bulk tea leaves and we seeped the
leaves in a bowl or cup of hot wa-
ter. Then a tea strainer was used
and the leaves discarded. Later we
had a little aluminum tea ball in the
shape of an egg.
That helped because we didn’t
have to strain the tea and we
thought that was a great invention.
In those olden days there were
coffee grounds left in the bottom
of a coffee cup as coffee was boiled
and strained before pouring in a
cup. However, the grounds seeped
through the pores anyway.
There were people who claimed
that they could read your fortune
by looking at the formation of cof-
fee grounds in the bottom of the
cup. The same went for tea leaves.
I wonder if anyone is still living
who remembers the woman in Joa-
quin who told fortunes? Law offi-
cers often consulted her for help
in solving cases. She was correct
many times in her predictions and
advice. She expected pay for her
work or a donation.
Dr. Robert Hughes told us that

There are temperature-acti-
