Mrs. Ross Briley returned
home from Franklin County
Hospital Wednesday where
she had received treatment
for injuries sustained in a
fall. Her sister, Mrs. J Q.
Wiler of Sulphur Springs, is
with her.
Mrs. Auline Leverett and
her father. Will Glenn of Dal-
las, and Lacy Glenn of Sulp-
hur Springs visited Mr. and
Mrs. W. C. Bennett Thursday
night.
Mr and Mrs. T J. Apple-
ton left Monday for their
home in Trinity. They had
been attending her mother,
Mrs P. L. Wardrup who has
been ill.

move with Lawrence and ar-
range for necessary paper
work and agreements.
They are also to contact
the school board of the Mt.
Vernon Independent School
District and get their appro-
val as the arena is now lo-
cated on a site belonging to
the school.
The directors expressed a
desire to begin the move after
the annual horse show which
is scheduled for October 9
Costs of the move and im-
provements were estimated
at from $3,000 to $5,000.
