By Bro. Marshall Townsley I!1' !r ,

"This is my com
mandment, That ye love one
another, as 1 have loved
you" John 15:12. "A new
commandment 1 give unto
you That ye iove one another.
as 1 have loved you, that ye
also love one another By this
shall all men know that ye are
my disciples, if ye have love
one to another " John
13:34,35 Brothers and
sisters, it is long past time for
us to begin to operate in this
kind of love The love that
remains the same day after
day regardless of what kind
of mood we happen to be in
The love that gives itself to
those that to us are not
lovely—the sinner, the liars
and cheaters and the ones
that don't dress "right" and
wear their hair the "right "
length It's time for us to
begin to love one another
enough to tell THE TRUTH
and point out error without
malice Love enough to in-
struct one another in the truth
of The Word and then be
patient and help bring about
the needed change
The Holy Spirit speaking
through Paul in Ephesians 5
says that Jesus is coming
back for a church that is
glorious, without spot,
wrinkle or any such thing A
bride holy and without
blemish The glorious church
will shine forth as a light in
this crooked and perverse
darkened world. It will show
forth God's glory Brothers
and sisters —that's us! We
are to shine with God's glory,
with His magnificent love!
We must drop these schisms
and divisions and come
together around the Word of
God. A body without spot,
wrinkle or blemish will not
adopt the policy — You
believe your way and I'll
believe mine and when we get
to heaven we'll see who's
right, John 16:13 says.
"Hcwbeit when he, the Spirit
of truth, is come, he will
guide you into all truth" and
! John 3:27 "But the anointing
which ye have received of
him abideth in you, and ye
need not that any man teach
you: but as the same
anointing teacheth you of
all things, and is truth, and is
no lie, and even as it hath
taught you, ye shall abide in
him " It is the job of the Holy
Spirit to teach the truth
(God's Word or Will) to the
believers. He is not teaching
one person (or group) one
thing and another person
something contrary
The problem has been that
through ignorance or
rebellion or for other rea-
sons. the large majority of
believers has refused to
follow the leadership of the
Holy Ghost We have stopped
the power of God from
working in our lives But let's
forget those things which are
behind, repent and press
toward the mark for the prize
of the high calling of God in
Christ Jesus Walk in truth,
forgiving those who have
harmed us in any way and
then forgetting about it.
Refuse to hold a grudge or
bear resentment against
anyone "For if ye forgive
men their trespasses, your
heavenly Father will also for-
give your trespasses "
Matthew 6:14.15
Brothers and sisters we
must come together and unite
to worship God in spirit and in
truth Jesus himself taught
us. "Every kingdom divided
against itself is brought to
desolation and every city or
house divided against itself
shall not stand " Matthew
