the rally date from a Friday
night to a Saturday night....
however, inspite of
these let-downs, we are de-
lighted with those who did
attend... there are hard wor-
kers and concerned peo pie in
Dell Valley and Hudspeth
County, as well as in Cul-
berson Co., and Marfa... not
to overlook, either, those won-
derful supporters in El Paso and
New Mexico!.... just look
what all these concerned citi-
zens accomplished!... .let's
hope all this work and con-
cern will result in a better
method of disposing of radio-
active waste, than dumping it

out in support of this most
important event..... many
were conspicuous by their

not yet realized the seriousness
of what almost happened to

off by the good news that the
two Hudspeth sites had been

Rep. Shaw for being here and
making the formal announce-
ment Larry Don, in spite
of the distance, has always
made the effort to come in
time of need.... there was
great disappointment that
Senator Sims did not come..
and disappointment, too,
that none of the University of
