We used to have a group
in this country called
minutemen who came to
the rescue in a time of
need. Today a minuteman
is a guy who can make it to
the refrigerator, fix a
sandwich, open a can of
beer, and be back before
the minute TV commercial
is over.

We’re in 100% agreement
with Judge Bray’s letter (Pg.
10) about a county-wide com-
munity cleanup! this will be
a meaningful county-wide beau-
tification program....the Cham-
ber of Commerce, City Hall,
businesses, private citizens are
all behind this project - let’s
urge everyone to cooperate
and work to accomplish this
goal there are 1 million vi-
sitors to both parks each year,
probably half this number
comes through Hudspeth
County by making the
towns show pride and a little
something extra, in time it
will pay off wonders can
be done by raking, picking up
and hauling off County
Commissioner Ray Collier
announced at the Chamber
of Commerce last week, that
county trucks are available
to haul off trash and heavy
stuff just let it be known...
the 31st meeting planned by
Judge Bray in Sierra Blanca

....let’s make Hudspeth Coun-
ty sparkle....and never give
up the fight to prevent the
worst of all pollutants, a
radioactive dump from com-
ing to our county
....the One-Act Play will be
presented this Friday night
(27th) at the school
The ANNUAL Dell Telephone
Cooperative meeting is Mon-
day night, March 30...BBQ

tion Day - City and schools...
...“The first of April, some
do say, is set apart for All
Fools’ Day, But why the
people call it so, Nor I nor
