1 Kay Bailey Hutchison cut her budget as State Treasurer by 8%, yet
Xs still increased return on investments and collections to a record
$1 billion a year.
Q She was the only statewide elected official to
fight the proposed Texas state income tax.
0 As a small business owner, she believes
Os cutting the federal deficit should be the '
Senate’s#! priority. .jQ
She’s for across-the-board-cuts in the $300 jSj?
billion the Federal government spends for
overhead and has a plan to save $1 trillion
by limiting the growth of spending. :
pT Kay is a strong supporter of term limits
and reform of Congress.
NORTON’S GIVES $600 TO EMS: On April 21 a group of Norton employees toured the local hospital
and EMS Systems in order to get a better view of what Comandie Community Hospital is doing
to improve the medical care in the community. This group of employees form a committee of
interested individuals that evaluate non-profit organizations in order to donate and give grants
to better help them help their community. Nortons Co. gave Comanche EMS a grant of 6600 for
the purchase of a ventilator to use on the ambulance. This ventilator will help Comanche EMS
give and improve service to the people of Comanche and the surrounding area. Pictured (1 to r)
