The Sabine Chapter of
Ducks Unlimited will hold
their annual fundraiser ban-
quet Tuesday. Oct. 19. at 6
p.m. at the VFW Hall on N.
Hwy. 87 in Orange.
Some of the featured
money-getters al this years'
event include a 10-gun raffle
and silent auction with dozens
of beautiful items on the
block, "and most of them don't
have anything to do with
ducks." John Thomas said.
"This is a great time for every-
body to get together, help
make money for the conserva-
tion of marshlands and get to
eat good and visit with folks
you may only get to see at this
once a year banquet."
Dinner, which is included in
the $4- ticket, will offer barbe-
cued brisket and links, potato
salad, dirty rice and baked
beans. The ticket also takes
care of a year's membership
and a quarterly magazine pro-
vided by Ducks Unlimited.
