PHARR, Texas — David Car-
denas, an evangelist among the
Spanish-speaking people, was in
Chicago the last of April to
work out details of moving to
Chicago to work among the
Spanish-speaking people.
The Lincoln Park congrega-
tion, with the assistance of
other congregations, began ser-
vices for the Spanish people in
February of this year.
There are some 200,000 Span-
ish-speaking people in the met-
ropolitan Chicago area. There

A new monthly magazine,
The Philippine Christian is de-
signed to serve as a teaching
agent to the churches of Christ
in the Philippines, said LeCroy.
One feature will be articles
written in three local dialects
which will have more wide-
spread appeal to the Filipino
Christians.
John Robinson, eiitor of the
magazine, has announced U.S.
subscriptions at $2.50 a year and
Filipino’s at four pesos.
