An Easier Sleep ..
(Continued from Pago 2)
dtotractione on television and radio and
through secular magazines and news-
papers tends to soak up free time which
formerly might be spent in Bible study
or worship.
One aid which the elders have in
encouraging spiritual growth is the use
of gospel periodicals which can be de-
livered into every home with regularity.
For example, the CHRISTIAN CHRON-
ICLE can be placed in the hands of each
member regularly for a very nominal
expense. Power for Today can be
mailed to the home to encourage daily
Bible reading, prayer, and singing with
the family. 20th Century Christian can
go monthly to help the elders teach and
admonish.
Let’s help the dders by using the
direct-mail family plan and paying for
it just as we do song books or Bible
schotd literature. The results wiH be
good.—M. Norvel Young
