WILLIAMS BAY, Wise. — The
1967 Lake Geneva Encampment,
scheduled for June 26 - 30, will
be held in one of America’s
most beautiful vacation spots,
according to Robert Marshall.
ThejSite of the encampment is
George Williams College at Wil-
liams Bay. The campus — 108
rolling, wooded acres on the
shores of Lake Geneva — is 90
miles north of Chicago. This
location has lodges, cottages, o _______w ___________
cabins, and tents as well js an jects and activities in the Mid
auditorium, conference centers ^est.”
In addition to the special fea-
tures there is a wide variety of
classes, speakers, discussions
and activities. Charles Brewer
of Nashville will present the
group with his “Fireside Chats”
— a series of informal evening
devotionals entitled, “Young at
Heart.”
Vernon Boyd of Chicago will
supervise daily classes for child-
ren. A series of special discus-
sion sessions is scheduled for
teenagers. The sessions will in-
volve key speakers and dialogue
with youth on subjects related
to their needs and interests.
Lgke Geneva has so many
outstanding features that it is
difficult to pinpoint the best
single feature, say the camp
leaders. There is Lake Geneva
and the excursion tour which
highlights the homes surround-
ing the lake. An 18 hole golf
course is included.
Sports Facilities
The encampment has facili-
ties for almost every sport:
sailing, water skiing, fishing,
archery, tennis, volleyball, ri-
flery, bicycling, and hiking
Games such as croquet and
table tennis are also available.
The basic purpose of the Lake
Geneva Encampments is “to
strengthen the work of Christ in
the Midwest.” Since Its begin-
ning eight years ago the en-
campment has encouraged fel-
lowship, missionary zeal and
general helpfulness in meeting

P. D. Wiimeth, minister and
author, will present morning
lectures on the Christian home.

Father Talks to Teenagers.”
Midwest Activities
Dale Smith of Goshen, Ind,,
will coordinate a special presen-
tation on “Great Christian
Works.” This a series concern-
ing “outstanding Christian pro
and varied recreational facili-
ties.
The encampment provides va-
cationers with a combination of
spiritual renewal, recreation, re-
laxation and Christian fellow-
ship, according to Ira North,
founder and director of the en-
campment. He announced that
“250 Christians have already
registered for this five-day per-
iod of renewal.”
Last year's participants came
from 14 states with the highest
concentration from the Midwest.
Youth Program Plannod
According to North, several
features of the 1967 encamp-
ment are particularly exciting.
An extensive youth program
will be coordinated by Dan
Woodroof of Michigan Christian
College along with Ron Ingram
and John Clayton. Fifty teenag-
ers have already registered. A
chartered bus from South Bend,
Ind., is scheduled to transport
youth from the northern Indiana
area.
Arrangements are being made
for busses from Chicago and
Detroit.
A class on the “Holy Spirit”
will be conducted by John Allen
Chalk, Herald of Truth radio,
speaker.
Clyde Muse of Oklahoma City
will probe “the challenge of how
Christians of all .races may
serve together.” He will suggest
Christian attitudes and actions
